My Vi Mi Gia is a hidden gem located in Garden Grove, CA, specializing in Chinese-Vietnamese noodles. This quaint spot offers a range of delicious options including dry and wet noodle bowls with various protein choices like beef, shrimp, and pork. Customers rave about the house special dry noodle bowl, a delightful combination of fresh rice noodles and egg noodles that is full of authentic Trieu Chau flavors.
Despite its small size and no-frills atmosphere, My Vi Mi Gia is a favorite among locals for its flavorful dishes. The mi or egg noodles are a standout here, particularly the Mi Dac Biet, a house special yellow noodle dish that can be enjoyed dry or with soup. The flavors are rich and comforting, with a generous amount of seafood and meat in every bite. The brown sauce coating the noodles is a highlight, paired perfectly with the side soup provided.
While the decor may not be extravagant, the focus at My Vi Mi Gia is on the delicious food rather than the ambiance. Service can be a bit shaky at times, but the affordability and quality of the dishes make it worth a visit. If you're in the mood for a satisfying and affordable meal that excites your taste buds, My Vi Mi Gia is a must-try spot in the Garden Grove area.

This is the best noodle house I have ever had in my life. Portion is big cost around $20. I usually order this plate every time visiting. I love the rice flat noodle with mixed sauce. Give it a try, no regret :)

Dry and wet noodle options. Lots of protein options as well. Had the dry yellow noodles with beef, liver, shrimp, and wonton. Good service and fair prices, I'll be back. :)

I had the house special dry noodle bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of fresh rice noodles and egg noodles was delightful, and I couldn't stop thinking about the flavors. Despite the restaurant being a bit small, the authenticity of the Trieu Chau dishes is unmatched. I've been a patron for over 20 years, and the original location in Garden Grove is my favorite out of the three. While the customer service may not be top-notch, the focus here is on enjoying the authentic flavors rather than the service. It can get quite busy, so the staff may seem a bit aggressive, but it's all about managing the rush of customers and orders. Overall, it's a great place to savor delicious Vietnamese dishes.

I got mì và hủ tiếu dài khô đặc biệt (house special dry egg noddles with clear glass noddles) + no oil. It comes with the broth on the side. My aunt likes their bánh phở áp cháo combination.

This is a Vietnamese, Chinese inspired, egg noodle spot. The mi or egg noodles here are bomb. The interior is nothing crazy. It's a hole in the wall. It's definitely not the cleanest or nicest looking restaurant but the food here is incredible. Service is shakey, it's better if you are Vietnamese or know someone that speaks Vietnamese but you'll still be ok. Personally, I care more about the food than anything. My favorite is the Mi Dac Biet or the House Special Yellow noodle. You can have it dry or with soup, your choice. I like both but I usually opt for the dry one. The dish is very flavorful and comforting. There is a good amount of seafood and meat, making it a filling meal. That brown sauce that coats everything is just amazing. I usually add some of those green chili's provided at the table. I love the little side soup that comes with this dish so that I can wash everything down. This is one of my go to spots when I want a good, affordable, and delicious meal. I would definitely recommend trying this out spot out if you're in the Garden Grove area.

One of my favorite hole-in-the-wall places in the area! We only come here for one thing, vietnamese dry noodles, and you really cant get them like this anywhere else They have other locations but this one is the clear stand out, you just have to brave the TINY parking lot and no frills atmosphere ---mi kho: MIX WELL BEFORE DIGGING IN, get all the egg noodles covered in the special sauce. Love the flavor and all the different textures from the crispy fried pork cubes to the meats and noodles. (the hubby and I just need to add chili oil and it's perfect). With the mi kho the soup comes on the side which we prefer!

Plenty of choices for noodles in this area so why this place? Unique noodle and flavors compared to the other places around here. Nondescript place in the middle of any other strip mall. My friends ordered for me so I wish I could tell you what I got but check out the pictures. I walk in and show them this and get the same exact dish. Don't be shy with the sauces. Highly recommend

Wow, my last review was 8 years ago...wild. Since then, I have gone here at least 5x a year haha. Came back to dine in again over the weekend and it is still just as good as it's always been. I would go through the struggle of parking in this lot again and again for this beautiful bowl. It looks like they improved on the soup provided on the side and now tasted even more rich. Hole in the wall magic!
